This Instant Pot brown rice is so healthy and it cooks in half the time in the pressure cooker. Sweet and chewy nutty flavor and delicious every time.
- 2 cups Brown basmati rice
- 2-½ cups Water or broth
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
Measure the rice into the colander. Rinse until the water runs clear. Add rice to Instant Pot.
Add water or broth, salt and olive oil. Stir to combine. Put the lid on Instant Pot and turn the valve to seal. Press “Pressure Cook” and set the timer for 22 minutes. Press “Keep Warm” to deactivate the “Keep Warm” function.
When cooking is complete, release pressure naturally until the pin drops, about 10 minutes.
