Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter
- ¾ cups brown sugar
- ¼ cups White sugar
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1-½ cup Flour
- 3 cups oats
- ½ teaspoon Baking soda
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350ºF (180ºC). Grease and line a large 9 x 13 inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
In the bowl of your electric mixer, mix the two sugars with the butter. Blend on high speed for about 3 minutes. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Whisk the vanilla.
Sift the flour, baking soda and salt. Add the flour and rolled oats to the batter and stir until just combined, about one minute. Add the chocolate chips
Press evenly into prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and place the tray on a cooling rack to cool completely.
Cut into squares and store in an airtight container. Keeps up to 3 days. Freeze for up to two months.
