Mix a few Concord grapes with rye, sweet vermouth and a pinch of bitters for an autumnal twist on the classic cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 4 Concord grapes
  • 2 ounces, liquid Rye Or Bourbon
  • 1 ounce, liquid Sweet vermouth, such as Dolin
  • 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Ice

Preparation

Crush the grapes in the bottom of a shaker to release their juice. Add rye, vermouth and bitters and half fill with ice. Shake vigorously until cold and frosty, about 15 seconds. Strain into a highball glass or goblet. Serve.
