Flaxseeds are easy to incorporate into smoothies, whether it’s whole flaxseeds or flaxseed meal! This recipe is for a strawberry and flaxseed smoothie.

Ingredients
- 1-½ cup Almond milk [or Other Milk]
- 2 tablespoons Flaxseeds (whole or flaxseed meal)
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1-½ cup Frozen strawberries
Preparation
You can optionally add yogurt, fresh or frozen green vegetables, or nut butter to this smoothie.
Add all ingredients to your high power blender. Blend for 1-2 minutes, until the mixture is very smooth. If you notice anything sticking to the sides of your blender, stop and scrape with a spatula.
Keto or low carb option: Use 1/2 cup frozen fruit and 1 avocado in berry/strawberry and flax smoothies.
