Ingredients

  • White bread
  • Slices of American cottage cheese
  • American yellow cheese slices
  • Slices of delicatessen with soft ham
  • Eggs
  • Butter

Preparation

Place a slice of white American on one side of the bread and place a slice of yellow American on the opposite slice. Garnish each side with a thin slice of ham with honey. Have all your bread assembled so you’re ready to go when you remove the eggs from the pan.
Easier to cook one egg per sandwich, remove from skillet without overcooking and gently bring sides of sandwich together. DO NOT PRESS OR YOU WILL BREAK THE YELLOW. Heat skillet over medium-low heat. Top each sandwich with knobs of butter. Place butter side down in skillet. Cover loosely with foil. Bake until bread is golden brown. Add knobs of butter on the uncooked side. Flip and bake until sandwich is golden brown and cheese is gooey and melted.
