Ingredients
- ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 sheet Bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons Mustard powder
- 3 tablespoons Tomato puree
- 60 milliliters Soya sauce
- 80 milliliters Cider vinegar
- 80 milliliters Maple syrup
- 500 milliliters Water
- 2 cans (Size about 400g) Beans mixed in water, drained
- 1 pinch Salt to taste
Preparation
Add all the ingredients, except the beans, to a saucepan. Mix everything. Turn on the heat and bring everything to a boil for 2 minutes, then reduce the heat to a simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the beans and simmer for another 10-15 minutes until the sauce has thickened. Taste and salt as needed.
Serve the beans over jacket potatoes and enjoy!
