Roast your own cashews to create a healthy, Whole30 compliant snack.
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon Sea salt
- 1 pound raw cashew nuts
Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
In a saucepan, heat the olive oil and spices until fragrant. Add the cashews and mix well to combine. Cook 3 to 5 minutes.
Spread the cashews on a baking sheet, lined if desired for easy cleanup, and bake for 15 minutes. Allow the cashews to cool before tossing them into a bowl with a paper towel to soak up any excess oil. Store at room temperature.
