Ingredients

  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • Sea salt
  • Optional herbs

Preparation

Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl (remove any broken shells if necessary). Mix well with a fork until the egg yolk and white are well incorporated.

Preheat a large frying pan over medium heat. Melt the butter evenly in the pan (either using a spatula to spread it, or by shaking the pan). Add the eggs and stir the mixture with a fork for 5-10 seconds while gently shaking the pan. Using a spatula, gently spread the runny eggs over the most cooked parts. Cook for 15 to 20 seconds, until the eggs are almost set.

With your spatula, gently roll the omelette (you may find it easier to tilt the pan with one hand while rolling the omelette with the spatula with the other). Allow to cook for 5 to 10 seconds.

Place the omelet on a plate. Season with sea salt and add the herbs.
