Ingredients

  • 10 cups Water, divided
  • ¼ teaspoons Baking soda
  • 6 bags Family Size Iced Tea Bags
  • 16 ounces, weight Fresh ripe red strawberries, or fruit of your choice
  • 1 tbsp Sugar (to macerate the strawberries)
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Lime
  • ⅓ cups Organic honey, or sweetener of your choice, to taste

Preparation

Add 3 cups of water, baking soda and tea bags to the Instant Pot insert. Place the cover and lock in position. Set the vent to Sealing, then select Manual + High Pressure and set the timer for 5 minutes.

While the tea steeps in the Instant Pot, wash and hull the strawberries, then cut them into quarters and blend them in a food processor with the sugar. Zest the lemon and lime then squeeze the juice from both into the food processor. Blitz for a minute and set aside.

Let Instant Pot do a natural release for 5 minutes, then do a quick release to fully depressurize. Remove the tea bags, then add honey or sweetener if using.

Once you’ve added the sweetener (if using), add the remaining 7 cups of water and allow the tea to cool completely before adding the strawberry puree.

Add the strawberry purée. Fill glasses with ice and pour over top, garnish with strawberries, lemon wedges, sliced oranges or fruits and herbs of your choice.
