These waffles are the perfect combination of salty peanuts and gooey melted chocolate! I love making them on the weekends and reheating leftovers in the toaster during the week.

Preparation: 10 minutes

Cook: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1-¼ cup Flour (I used whole wheat)
  • ¾ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons Agave Nectar
  • 1-⅓ cup Almond milk (you can also substitute regular milk)
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ½ cups chopped peanuts
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips

Preparation

Plug in and preheat the waffle maker according to the iron’s instructions.

Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl and all wet ingredients in a separate bowl. Whisk wet ingredients into dry mixture until dry ingredients are just moistened. Do not overmix.

Stir in chocolate chips and peanuts until incorporated.

Spray waffle maker with nonstick spray and follow iron instructions for making waffles, baking until golden brown.

Extra waffles can be refrigerated or frozen and reheated in the toaster.
