Ingredients
- 1 grid Beef back ribs
- Rub:
- 1 tbsp Kosher salt
- 1 tbsp Ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon Cayenne pepper
Preparation
Remove the thin paper membrane from the bony side of the ribs.
Apply the rub to both sides of the rib.
Set your smoker to 275F and preheat.
Place the ribs bone-side down in the smoker. Smoke the ribs for 3 hours.
The outside of your ribs should be blackened and the bark should set. You then want to wrap the ribs with butcher paper or aluminum foil.
Return the ribs to the smoker for 2 hours. Meat temperature should be around 205F when done.
Let the ribs rest for 30 minutes then slice.
