Level: Easy
Serves: 2
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons Ginger, chopped
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 400 grams Fresh green beans
- 2 tablespoons Soya sauce
- 2 tablespoons Sambal Oelek
- 1 tbsp Toasted sesame oil
- 100 grams Roasted And Salted Peanuts
Preparation
Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil to the wok. It can be peanut oil, canola oil, sunflower oil or any other neutral oil.
Add the ginger and garlic to the skillet and stir for a few seconds. Add green beans and cook, stirring, for about 3 minutes or until green beans are crisp, tender and bright green. The skin will also start to blister, which is what we want.
Add the wet stuff (soy sauce, chili paste, and sesame oil) and sauté until the green beans are coated and the sauce starts to look sticky. You basically make homemade sweet chili sauce right in the wok.
Add the chopped peanuts and stir for a few more seconds until they are also coated in the sauce.
