Ingredients
- 1-¾ cup All purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Baking soda
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoons Nutmeg
- 1-½ cup Bananas (about 3 large)
- ½ cups Melted butter
- 2 Eggs
- 1-½ tsp Vanilla
- 3 tablespoons Milk or Greek yogurt
- ½ cups Crushed walnuts

Preparation
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a 12 muffin pan with paper liners or spray with cooking spray.
In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Put aside.
In a medium bowl, mash the bananas. Whisk together melted butter, eggs, vanilla and milk or yogurt. Add the dry ingredients and use a spatula to mix gently until combined. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the muffin pan, filling to the top. Bake 5 minutes at 425ºF. Then, with the muffins in the oven, reduce the temperature to 350°F. Bake for an additional 15 to 16 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let the muffins cool for a few minutes in the pan, then transfer them to a cooling rack.
